One Master Controller is required per NX Tester. It serves as the interface between the NX Tester and the other modules. It also provides power to the other modules through the included power supply. The DB-9 connector on the left connects to the NX Tester’s serial port using a supplied Dynalab Serial Transfer Cable. The DB-15 connector on the right connects to other modules.
