The following is an example of the kind of information that NX View displays when the NX Tester is displaying an error:

The NX View Error Display is divided into five panels:

  • The top panel contains error information on two lines. The top line contains the same information that is displayed on the first line of the NX Tester’s display. In the example above, an OPEN error is displayed, and there are a total of 10 errors. The second line contains the same information that is displayed in the fourth line of the NX Tester’s display. In the example above, the type of diode error is identified.
  • The second panel displays the two fixture block-pin connection points associated with the error. In the example above, fixture block B, pin 2 and fixture block D, pin 2 are associated with the DIODE error.
  • The third panel displays an optional depiction of the connector associated with the fixture block. The pins associated with the error are circled as shown above. The depiction of the connector can either be an image created by the NX Fixture Block Editor, or a graphic generated by NX View based upon information provided in the Fixture Blocks view of the NX Editor.
  • The fourth panel displays the wire name and color if these parameters have been defined in the Connections view of the NX Editor.
  • The fifth panel displays an optional document associated with the fixture block or the connection group.
